About Us
Innovative. Authentic. Honest. Conscious. Refreshingly Different.
Our Story
My mom and I started mixing our superfood gluten-free muesli at our kitchen table in 2013 after I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease.
As a lifelong athlete and Division 1 water polo player, I understood the importance of starting the day with a healthy breakfast—but after my diagnosis, I had to relearn everything. At the time, I had also been bitten by the triathlon bug, and the gluten-free cereals and granolas on the market just weren’t cutting it.
It took us a while to find the courage to chase this crazy dream. There were some fits and starts, but eventually, we found our footing—and Victory Dance Foods was born.
It’s now a much bigger table, and a much bigger kitchen, but our approach and commitment have stayed true.
Guiding Beliefs
We believe in mornings.
We believe breakfast matters.
We believe that what you eat first thing has a profound effect on your day, your energy, your mood, and your long-term well-being.
We believe that gluten-free can be full of flavor and vibrant color—because healthy shouldn’t mean bland or boring.
We believe eating should be joyful. That a healthy breakfast or snack is a tiny victory worth celebrating.
And that the best way to eat more veggies? Start at breakfast.
We believe that if you want people to start and stick to healthy habits, it all starts with taste.
We believe in learning—continually educating ourselves and our team on nutrition, wellness, and food systems.

We believe veggies rule—and we believe in breaking the rules.
(Like putting one of the most polarizing veggies ever—hi, beets—in granola.
We believe good food should do good.

Our Mission
To make innovative, delicious, gluten-free breakfast and snack foods—so you can fuel your dreams and win the day.
Our Gluten-Free Promise
Making every delicious batch gluten-free is our top priority. Everything we make is certified gluten-free and produced in our 100% dedicated gluten-free facility.
Our founder Maddie has Celiac Disease, and providing safe, certified gluten-free food is one of the reasons we started this company. In 2018, we pursued certification through the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO), the gold standard in gluten-free verification.
Since February 7, 2019, all of our products have carried GFCO’s certification mark. As part of that certification, we follow strict protocols, conduct regular testing, and undergo annual audits to ensure everything we make is safe for people with Celiac Disease.
Because for us, gluten-free isn’t a trend—it’s personal.
Giving Back & Sustainability
From our zero food waste kitchen to our 1% for the Planet pledge, we’re committed to sustainability that goes beyond the buzzwords. We compost everything we can and donate 1% of our revenue to reforestation projects through our partnership with One Tree Planted.
We even track our progress.
